International Business Services - India
Düsseldorf-based companies such as ThyssenKrupp, Henkel, Metro or the SMS Group have long been highly successful on the Indian market.
Indian companies are becoming increasingly important in the global economy as trading partners, investors and cooperation partners.
More than 40 Indian companies have now settled in the Düsseldorf economic region. Major Indian corporate groups such as Tata, Mahindra and Essar are represented and, together with established companies from the textile and steel industries such as Spider Lugani, Zodiac Clothing or Dastur, form the heart of a developing Indian corporate community.
Düsseldorf Office of Economic Development is therefore increasing its efforts to acquire Indian companies. This includes making Düsseldorf even more well-known as a major location for information and communication technology and as an ideal, centrally located base for the supplier business in plant engineering and automotive engineering and for the life science sector.
