Discover Düsseldorf: Gays and lesbians
This is where the community meets
Anyone wishing to meet the like-minded can choose between the many cafés, bars and discos of the gay and lesbian scene. The Café Rosa Mond in Lierenfeld is an institution.
Regular gay-lesbian events
Düsseldorf also celebrates the international gay and lesbian holiday Christopher Street Day. Schadow Platz is the centre of the street festival with a traditional demonstration.
Colourful events are staged throughout the year, such as the "Tuntenlauf" at carnival time or "Pink Monday" when the fair is staged at the Rhine.

Düsseldorf is an open-minded city and the lively gay and lesbian scene also contributes to this. With its regular events, it offers Düsseldorfers and visitors some great entertainment.
