Mayor Geisel and Tour Director Prudhomme Present Details of the Grand Départ Düsseldorf 2017



In 2017, the Grand Départ of the Tour de France will take place in the state capital of Düsseldorf. The details about the start of the world?s most famous bicycle race will be shared with the media and the general public by Düsseldorf?s mayor, Thomas Geisel, and Christian Prudhomme, Director of the Tour de France, on January 14, 2017, during a presentation at the Stadthalle/CCD. 
A press conference was already held in the morning at the German embassy in Paris.
The presentation in Düsseldorf was transmitted online as a livestream and is still available.
In the evening, there was a reception in the Düsseldorf Ständehaus, which was lit up in the French national colors.
