Events with more than 1,000 participants must be cancelled until further notice

The Ministry for Labour, Health and Social Affairs has issued an instruction to local authorities according to which the responsible authorities (i.e. the local health authority and public order offices) are required to take protective measures in order to prevent the spread of the Corona Virus (SARS-CoV-2). In the case of major events with more than 1,000 anticipated participants (visitors, those taking part and personnel), it must be assumed according to present knowledge that protective measures are not possible and that such events must therefore be cancelled. The local authorities no longer have any room for discretion in such matters. Major sporting events (football or ice hockey events, for example) may only be held without spectators (so-called ghost matches).

In the case of events with less than 1,000 anticipated participants – as before - an individual evaluation is required as to which protective hygiene measures should be taken against the infection. This instruction is in force until further notice. This means that some events in the D.LIVE event locations cannot take place as planned until further notice. D.LIVE works together with organizers and artists to plan replacement dates for the affected events.
