Another Düsseldorfer has now been tested positive for the Corona Virus. The man (born 1963) shows only mild flu symptoms. As yet his wife has no symptoms. The man had close contact (Category I) with a known case from Heinsberg.
The Düsseldorfer has been in quarantine at home since 3 March. He developed symptoms shortly after that date, whereupon a swab was taken at the diagnostic centre. The results came through yesterday evening, 7 March. Apart from his wife, there are no other contact persons. She too, as a precaution, is being kept in quarantine at home.
Together with this latest case there are now, as of Sunday morning 8 March, four people in Düsseldorf who have tested positive for the Corona Virus. So far they have shown no or only mild symptoms of illness and they are in domestic quarantine.
