State Capital Sends Tour Riders a “Save the Date” for the Grand Départ Düsseldorf 2017

During the last few days of this year’s Tour de France, the "internal Tour mail" delivered a postcard greeting to all of the riders. Düsseldorf Mayor Thomas Geisel and Sven Teutenberg, Event Director of the Grand Départ Düsseldorf 2017, sent out a "save the date" card for July 1, 2017 – the day when the first stage of the Tour de France 2017 will start in Düsseldorf. Along with best wishes for the last week of this year’s Tour, they tell riders, "We look forward to hosting you next year for the Grand Départ in Düsseldorf."
