"The Digital Transformation in Germany's Industry 4.0: Innovative Solutions and Business Opportunities in Düsseldorf and North Rhine-Westphalia"

The China Competence Center Düsseldorf and NRW.Invest joined forces in China to promote Düsseldorf and North-Rhine Westfalia as a premium location for Chinese companies in the digital industries. As part of the campaign "Germany at its best: Nordrhein-Westfalen" the two held a Business Forum on "The Digital Transformation in Germany’s Industry 4.0: Innovative Solutions and Business Opportunities in Düsseldorf and North Rhine-Westphalia" on November, 29th. More than 200 participants joined the Forum in Guangzhou to see presentations on the development of digital industries. Lili Jia of Weyto GmbH and Bas Zwartkruis of ZTE Deutschland GmbH presented their outlook on digital cooperation across continents as well as opportunities in digital healthcare cooperation projects.

Both companies are part of a growing international digital network in Düsseldorf and as Mayor Thomas Geisel put it: "Part of an ecosystem that consists of network providers like Vodafone, Telekom und Telefonica, technology companies, service providers und users, which fosters the development of digital technologies".
