Toppan Europe moves European headquarters to Düsseldorf ...

Toppan Europe GmbH has moved its European headquarters from London to Düsseldorf, and is now located in new premises on Toulouser Allee 19a.

The company's move from Heinrich-Straße to Toulouser Allee in mid-November 2017 coincided with the opening of the first Toppan showroom in Europe.

The parent company, Toppan Printing Co., Ltd, is based in Tokyo and employs around 50,700 staff worldwide. The company operates in the field of printing technology and its applications can be broken down into five categories: "Creative Communication", "Information Management", "Packaging & Converting", "Performance Materials" and "Electronic Devices". Major products that are currently being sold into the European market are: Special Barrier film & Packaging for Food and pharmaceuticals, Décor materials for Furniture/Flooring, Thermal Transfer media for photoimaging, Holograms for cards and bank notes, RFID and systems for anti-counterfeiting, Photomask for semiconductors, Marketing Tools such as large Sample Books, and of course, the printing of books and magazines.

Toppan’s main manufacturing sites are globally spreading from Japan, China, and USA. In Europe, the company has its own factories in Dresden, Germany, Corbeil, France, and Tordera, Spain. These factories are in addition to the network of distributors and representatives that we have situated throughout Europe to service Russia, Poland, Scandinavia, Southern Europe and South Africa.

The company was incorporated as Toppan Printing GmbH in Düsseldorf in October 1989 and was initially based in Klosterstraße.
