1. General information
As a public authority the city is subject to the data protection laws of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia (DSG NRW). The protection of your personal data is of central importance for us. Therefore your data will be protected within the limits of statutory provisions and all regulations of the data protection law of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia will be adhered to.
The purpose of the appointment system “tempus” at the “Gesundheitsamt der Landeshauptstadt Düsseldorf” (health department of the city of Düsseldorf) is to schedule binding appointments for medical counselling on behalf of § 10 of regulativ legislation for prostitutes and protection of people working as prostitutes (“Prostituiertenschutzgesetz”).
The software will be operated by the company “Berner Telecom-Dienste” (hereafter referred to as “operator”) on behalf of the City of Düsseldorf. You will find the general data protection declaration of the City of Düsseldorf under the topic imprint.
2. Data storage and deletion
To make an appointment, you give your sex and optionally your email-address. Your IP-address will be registered under the booking of your appointment. These dates will be saved and processed by the operator and the City of Düsseldorf. Your personal dates will be automatically deleted two months after the appointed date.
3. Appropriation
Your dates that have been transferred via “tempus” will only be saved and processed for the given appointment by the operator and the City of Düsseldorf. They will not be saved or used for other purposes.
Within the City of Düsseldorf only the departments that are involved in the editing of the appointments have insight to your dates. Your dates will not be transferred to third parties outside the administration of the City of Düsseldorf.

5. Data security and communication
Dates that are send to us via the appointment system “tempus” will be secured by SSL encryption (Secure Socket Layer).
